UNIQLO, the global clothing retailer, will join Sandy relief organization Camp Bulldog at Harding Avenue Elementary School and the Lindenhurst Knights of Columbus in Lindenhurst, NY, to deliver warm clothing donations to hundreds of individuals and families affected by Sandy this Saturday.

This is the ninth stop of UNIQLO’s “United in Warmth” relief program that will visit 10 communities in NY and NJ hit hardest by Sandy to bring warm clothing donations to families during this winter. UNIQLO will bring 25 volunteers to Lindenhurst including their own employees and executives, and volunteers who signed up through UNIQLO’s website to donate their time. In the 10 weeks, the company will distribute 100,000 HEATTECH clothing items and 10,000 Premium Ultra Light Down coats valued at close to $2.3 million. Interested volunteers can sign-up on UNIQLO.com.

UNIQLO is also partnering with the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City, the New York City Housing Authority, the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development, the State of New Jersey and the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund.
